About Garage Kept Motors
Garage Kept Motors, LLC specializes in classic and specialty online auto sales.
For our consignors, we are the only auto brokers that offer a Transparent Sale Disclosure. This means, when a car sells, we provide an exact copy of the Bill of Sale. We do this so our clients know exactly who bought their car, where it went, and most importantly how much we sold it for. No funny business.
For our buyers, our vehicles are listed on the Internet, with over 100 photos, including undercarriage pictures, and walk-around videos of the vehicles running plus a narrative-style write-up of the cars history and features. Our international exposure allows us to sell cars across the globe, and we sell a majority of them out of state and overseas. We deliver honesty and consistency in our photos, so buyers, both near and far, can invest with confidence sight unseen though we do recommend to check the vehicle out in person or have a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done. We are not a gallery. Vehicles can be seen locally by appointment as potential buyers are given our undivided attention.

General Terms
Garage Kept Motors, LLC, and our brother company Kliffs Classic Cars, LLC, strives to represent each vehicle accurately and honestly. We welcome third-party pre-purchase inspections on all purchases in our indoor, heated showroom. We take pride in our descriptions, photos, and videos but we are humans and ultimately not perfect. Unless otherwise noted, all vehicles are sold AS-IS with No Warranty Expressed or Implied. All sales are final.
We do offer shipping within the continental United States. If you would like a shipping quote, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you.
Fees and Taxes
For in-state purchases (Michigan) we charge a $280 documentary fee plus sales tax (6%), license (depends on original MSRP and birthdate) or transfer fee ($8), and title fee ($15). For sales outside the State of Michigan, we only charge a $280 documentary fee on top of the sales price. A Bill of Sale will be provided so buyers can register the vehicle in their own state and/or country. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you.
