Frame up restoration professionally completed. This 1957 Ford Convertible is loaded with options including power steering and power brakes Only 12000 miles since restoration was completed. Odometer shows 68,000 original miles. The body was restored many years ago and because it was such a quality job it looks like it was a much more recent completion. The body panels are straight, car shows no rust or damage. Everything fits properly, doors shut nicely. The power convertible top functions flawlessly. Repainted flame red and colonial white with a very smooth and glossy finish. It has optional fender skirts and is dressed up with the optional bumper guards, dual mirrors, rocker moldings with stone shields. All of the chrome and trim was replaced or restored. The windshield and weather-stripping were also replaced. Tires, exhaust etc. are excellent.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The wiring was replaced, gauges were rebuilt. The carpets, door panels and seats are in new condition. There is a hidden upgraded stereo, but also has the original working radio.
It has some nice features under the hood. At the heart of it is the Ford 312 Thunderbird motor, correct manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, 4 barrel carb etc. etc.. All the components were restored and are proper. The suspension and steering were rebuilt, the chassis components and correct dual exhaust system, fuel system, tank and brakes are good. Looking up at the motor it is very clean and so is the Ford-O-Matic transmission.
