This is a 1965 Chevy Corvette big block 4-Speed. Take a look at the pics for condition. Lots of work has been done, recently on front and rear suspension. The rear suspension has newer leaf spring, rebuilt trailing arms, new strut rods and what I believe are KYB shocks. The front suspension - upper and lower control arms have been restored with ball joints and bushings, newer tie rod ends and idler arm. Tires are also newer.
The engine is a late 1971 dated 454 four-bolt, steel crank, forged pistons. It acts as though it has a mild solid lifter cam with GM Snowflake aluminum heads and dual plane intake manifold with 750 vacuum carb. It has factory-style large Corvette oil pan. It has exhaust manifolds running through a recent aluminized exhaust system that fits very well. The trans is a 1965 Muncie. The rear appears to have been rebuilt at some point recently - the way the car drives, I would guess it's a 3.08. The car is configured to be a mild highway cruiser with heavy duty parts. The car does have big block core support, radiator and shroud.
The interior appears nice and clean - good driver quality and shows well. Instrument cluster has the correct big block high hp tach with 80lb oil pressure gauge. All these parts have patina and are indicative of 1965 big block high hp cars only. All the gauges work including the interior light. Original glove box is intact.
Headlights go up and down and work properly. Horn works, wipers work, brake lights all operational, E brake works.
The wheel and tire combo suits the car well, although bumpers are straight look fine from a distance but show their age the closer you get. The paint on the car is nice driver quality - appears to have been on the car for a very long time. The frame is very solid with no rust.
There is a large notebook of receipts of work that was done and parts that were purchased. I would call this car as a great driver that has the right look. If you're looking for muscley mid-year convertible then this might be the one as it's a good-looking head turner that shows well with some patina.
