About this vehicle
The previous winner never responded to any of my messages and didn’t pay for the vehicle so I am relisting the auction.
We are the 4th owner of this beautiful classic Mercedes. We have a clear title but never switched it into our name.
The second owner was the grandson of the original owner. He only drove it during the summer. The person we got it from bought it for 5k drove it for a summer and parked it in the garage. He went to start the car the following summer and the car would not run right. He purchased a new distributor but it was the wrong one and it would no longer start. He also installed a new starter thinking that was the issue.
We got the car from him, we did an oil change and tube up, replaced the coil, installed the correct distributor, plugs, cap, rotor and wires. We drained the bad gas and replaced it with some premium fuel.
It runs, starts, stops and drives but it still has some issues. Perhaps timing is off or it needs the carb rebuilt. No sure exactly. So it will need to be towed.
The exhaust is noisy too.
The interior is in pretty good condition and the headliner is intact and in good condition. There is rust in the usual spots and I took photos of the serious rust that you can’t see in photos of the exterior. The floor pans have rust but the sound dampener doesn’t come out so I’m not sure of the exact condition.
It has the original tool kit that came with the car. It also has the original owners manual and certificate of purchase. Which is very cool.
The battery is fairly new. The last owner had new tires installed a d are still in great condition condition. There is a dent in the front passenger door. Someone put silver tape over some rust holes on the exterior of the body. You should be able to see it from the picture however you may need to zoom in.
The car has all of the stainless steel trim. There are 3 pieces that are not attached. The 2 quarter panel to fins and on the hood. They just need new clips and you can pop them on. The car will probably need some weatherstripping.
It is a beautiful car with pretty good bones.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like more photos. I might have missed something and I want you to be sure before you place a bid.

Vehicle Details
1967 Mercedes-Benz S230. It is white with red interior and a white headliner, which appears pink in the photo but that’s just reflecting the red interior. The odometer says 42k miles but we’re pretty sure it has turned over.
