CONDITION
This 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 XL GT Convertible is one of the rarest, highest-optioned, and most desirable full-size Fords ever produced. Documented by both its original build sheet and Deluxe Marti Report, this matching-numbers GT features the mighty Thunder Jet 429, paired with the legendary Toploader 4-speed manual transmission, and supported by a factory heavy-duty suspension and Positraction-Lok rear.
With just 21,000 miles, this car has been remarkably preserved. Its Gulfstream Aqua paint (a rare color with only 428 produced) presents beautifully, and the Parchment Pearl interior with its split bench seat remains in pristine condition. This Galaxie has been repainted once to factory specification and retains its original appearance throughout.
It is equipped with an exceptional list of power options-power windows, power locks, power disc brakes, power steering, and a power convertible top-all functioning as they should. The stainless Flowmaster exhaust provides the perfect muscle tone without compromise.
Mechanically, the car is outstanding. It runs, drives, and shifts beautifully, with no fluid leaks whatsoever. It was built at the Wayne Ford plant on December 3, 1968, and remains a true "Michigan Strong Boy," turning heads wherever it goes.
As one of only 113 examples with this engine/transmission combination, this Galaxie stands as a highly collectible piece of Ford history-an extremely rare big-block, 4-speed convertible in pristine condition.
HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE BIG-BLOCK FORD CONVERTIBLES EVER BUILT!
