I restored this AT1 the old school way. I removed the anchor electric start. This was an extremely popular changeover for riders that wanted to ride a 125 because the AT1MX was very difficult to ride. This bike has a CT1 crankshaft, magneto, wire loom, headlight, battery box, battery and ignition switch.
If
you want to purchase a bike from me, be advised that I cannot and will not sell
utilizing eBay’s new Secure Purchase option since it does not work for
California Sellers selling vintage motorcycles. Therefore, it is imperative
that you first contact me for a detailed explanation and for payment and
shipping instructions.
I
have a good connection for transporting motorcycles from my location to most
states in the contiguous United States for approximately $650. You would need to email me your State and Zip
Code, as well as any other questions pertaining to the bike.
I
have restored many Yamahas. There’s no such thing as an original bike in
honestly ‘great’ condition. After 50 years, they all need the following
replacement parts: tires, tubes, rubbers, grommets, carburetor gaskets and o rings,
fork seals/dust covers, engine seals, clutch disc, clutch hub rubbers, air
filter, seat foam and brakes. If it has 2,500 miles of use or more, it will
also need: a bore job, piston and, while it’s apart, the connecting rod and
bearings should be replaced.
All
of my bikes are completely restored. I will be listing approximately 35 Yamahas
from 1969 thru 1973 models including: AT1, AT1MX, AT2, AT2MX, AT3, AT3MX, CT1,
CT2 and CT3.
This
Yamaha is completely restored. It has a completely rebuilt engine. New parts
include: rod kit, crank bearings, seals, clutch, piston, coil, source coil,
points, condenser, intake boot & filter.
Other new parts include: luggage rack, tank emblems, speedo, tachometer,
bars, grips, levers, perches, ignition switch, front and rear brake light
switches, horn and light switch, horn, NOS cables, wire loom, tail light loom,
tail light, headlight rim, bulb, headlight loom, reflectors, all new rubber
parts including pegs, oil gauge, shifter, fork tubes, seals, dust covers, front
and rear rims, spokes, nipples, shocks, tires, chain, sprockets, brake shoes,
seat foam and cover. 1971 through 1973 bikes came with turn signals and I will
provide a set of NOS signals for those bikes. Restored carburetor, original gas
shutoff, gas cap, exhaust, kick starter, seat pan, front and rear hubs. All
bolts and hardware have been bead blasted and re zinc plated. Frame swing arm
and all other pieces that are black or grey have been bead blasted and powder
coated, with the exception that the front and rear fenders have been painted
with urethane. Gas tank, oil tank, headlight and ears have been professionally
painted and striped.
