This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette presents in a striking red exterior over a black interior, showing just 47,000 miles on the body and only 11,700 miles on the engine since its rebuild. Retaining its original wheels, the car wears a fresh set of BFGoodrich tires that complement its classic stance. Under the hood, the engine was bored .040 over during its rebuild and has been paired with a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Performance upgrades include a new Holley Quick Fuel Slayer 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor, aluminum radiator with new housing, fan clutch, and shroud, along with a new fuel pump, starter, alternator, and distributor. The engine breathes through headers wrapped in heat mesh, while a new kill mat heat barrier and carpet keep the cabin comfortable. Supporting components such as the water pump, pulleys, belts, power steering kit, and valve covers have all been replaced, ensuring reliability. A new gas tank, throttle cable, fuel sending unit, and rear axle half shafts further enhance drivability.
Inside, the black interior has been refreshed with new carpeting, updated locks and handles, and a modern stereo system with Bluetooth and upgraded speakers. Practical upgrades include an electronic conversion kit for the windshield wipers, along with new gauges for temperature and fuel, a new turn signal switch, and all-new wiring with harnesses, spark plugs, and wires. Comfort and function have been prioritized without losing the car's classic appeal.
The chassis and suspension have been comprehensively addressed, with all worn bushings, tie rods, U-joints, hoses, gaskets, and control arms replaced. The braking system is entirely new, including rotors, calipers, and master cylinder, paired with new shocks for confident handling.
