The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer comes with a rare 401ci (6.6l) motor featuring forged steel crank and rods, coupled with a TH400 HD Auto Transmission. It includes Quadra-Trac (Borg Warner) full-time 4x4 with a Low Range option for superior driving performance. The vehicle is equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes for enhanced driving comfort. A factory-installed air conditioner keeps the interior cool while the power tailgate window adds to the convenience. The Wagoneer boasts a factory 40-channel CB radio, factory forged slotted aluminum mag wheels, a towing package, bucket seats, and a sport steering wheel with a tilt feature. Additional enhancements include cruise control, a roof rack, chrome mirrors, rear window defroster, bumper guards, and a convenience group. It was originally Loden Green Metallic and has been repainted in Golden Ginger Metallic with custom pinstriping. The Brampton Plaid fabric seats are adorned with Wellington vinyl trim. This vehicle features a new fuel tank, lines and pump, and a new carburetor. Essential components such as belts, hoses, filters, plugs, distributor cap, and rotor, as well as a thermostat and housing, battery, and electronic ignition module have all been replaced. Fluids, including coolant, motor oil, differentials, transmission, and brake fluids, have been changed. The tailgate motor, track, channel, felt, and gear assembly are brand new. The valve cover and intake gaskets, master cylinder, brake pads, and shoes have also been replaced. A new OC full carpet kit in saddle color has been installed, along with a matching headliner kit (new in box). Additionally, the Wagoneer includes some extra new and original parts, as well as a Poppy’s Patina Clear Coat Kit (new in box). The tires are in good condition, and the vehicle starts, runs, and drives with all lights and signals functioning. The odometer works with accurate mileage, while the wipers are functional. However, the A/C has a hose leak, and the speedometer is currently non-functional. The glass is entirely original, with a few minor marks on the windshield. There is minor rust over both rear wheel wells, but the rockers and floors remain solid.
