It's just an opinion, of course, but I think these are the best 101 key Model Ms: they're still made by IBM, the key caps are (mostly) 2 piece and look great, the num pad has the nice sub-legends, there's a removable keyboard cable, and LEDs for all the lock lights.
Pictures taken inside, again. I live in a desert. It's supposed to be 104 F, today.
Features:
* SDL to PS/2 cable is completely intact. No broken tabs!
* Includes PS/2 to USB adapter.
* Correct numpad key caps with the nice brown sub-legends.
* All the LEDs work.
Work done:
* Case cleaned with Simple Green and a magic eraser.
* Key caps and stems cleaned separately with my ultrasonic cleaner.
* Decently done screw mod by me.
* Original controller was bad. Replaced.
* Replaced a couple missing keys.
* Tested for about a week. Works great.
The spring to the P key bent while I was doing the screw mod. I replaced it with another spring. It's still perfectly clicky.
