This is a very well-optioned Corvette with a great color combination and is in

great condition inside and out as well as mechanically!

The RPO, Z51 performance handing package option continued in 1989

available only in coupes with manual transmissions.

A new suspension option, RPO FX3, permitted three variations of suspension

control regulated by a console switch. It could be ordered only with RPO Z51. The RPO

Z52 sport suspension (1987-1988) was not a 1989 option. However, all 1989 Corvettes

with FX3 with Z51 had Z52 springs and stabilizers for a wider range of suspension

control. The only exceptions were the sixty Corvettes built for the Challenge race series

which had FX3 suspensions with Z51 springs and stabilizers.
