1989 Range Rover Classic Off Road MONSTER- Fun, Cool Truck
I am reluctantly selling my ’89 Range Rover due to some
changes/additions to my classic fleet. I purchased the truck almost the years
ago from a gentleman that owned a foreign/exotic car repair shop. He had done a
ton of stuff to the truck, both routine maintenance and some great
improvements. I have continued doing the same, and the truck is ready to drive
and enjoy.
Previous owner provided Cold AC and HOT heat by servicing
the HVAC and replacing the heater core. Car always starts and runs well.
Actually drives quite well considering the huge BFG tires, mounted on
custom/bespoke RG Design Hollow Spoke wheels, set is 1 of 1 made in Italy for a
wealthy college kid in DC that decided he wanted “something bigger”. These
wheels were originally almost $4K, plus the cost of the tires. 4WD works great,
and the truck really pulls!
Clean NC title. Truck is solid, but the paint is faded, and
the aluminum body is dented, in the words of the previous owner, “like an old
soda can”. I have purchased a used, OEM RF fender, and a very hard-to-locate
used OEM Cowl Panel, and these are included with the truck. Roof was
professionally painted Wimbledon White, and D-pillars were recovered in the
proper black vinyl. Headliner was replaced, but the seat covers are shot, and
covered by some very-comfortable sheepskin covers.
Truck has a cage in the interior, and sliders on the
undercarriage.
Drive this truck home, or I will meet/assist your shipper
with pick up.

Rear glass hatch has a small rust spot on the steel frame,
and the latch is non-functional. It was replaced by the two rubber latches seen
in the pics. There is rust along the very bottom of the rear panel.
Floor pans have had panels welded and riveted in as well as
the rockers. There are still rusty areas in the rockers, but the frame is very solid with no rust damage.
Power seats work, but switches are a bit twichy. I have
adjusted them to fit, and I leave them alone.
