Beautiful 2004 Mercedes E320 Sport Wagon with low 69K miles. I bought this car off EBAY and the guy who had a small dealership completely mispresented the car mechanically. I had the following completed by certified mechanics:
- Valve cover reseal
- Replaced breather hoses
- Heater inop, replaced heater control valve
- Auxiliary battery INOP, replaced
- Transmission and motor mounts replace
Over $4300 spent on getting the mechanicals correct
Had the following maintenance completed:
- Transmission fluid and filter changed
- Replaced spark plugs
- Oil and filer changed with Mobil one European
The car runs, stops and shifts great, tires are Kumho nearly brand new, rims in excellent condition
The car needs new lower front grill which I have, not sure I will replace the grill as I have a broken rib. The rear latch that opens to the battery and spare needs replaced, I have not replaced it as I always have the rear seats down as my Standard Poodle has the back to herself with a blanket down. She doesn't shed. The map holder behind passenger seat has come loose and needs repair.
The paintwork is excellent for the year, There are a few blemishes and a 3" shallow crease above the rear tail light. Could not get it to show up in photos. All glass is clear and all windows function. The car has a very nice Harmon Kardon sound system much more functional than older Mercedes I've owned. Car has a single and 6 disc changer CD player. I have 2 key fobs and all records will go to new owner. Selling as I want to buy a European Convertible.
Happy to take it in for a pre-purchase inspection, you pay for it. I'm a car guy and take care of my vehicles. If you have the car shipped, I'm happy to work with your shipper and will be available most days as I am retired.
