I bought this 2005 Honda Element EX FWD for my daughter on the advice of my mechanic who said they run forever, parts are easy to find and cheap.  He was right and he has maintained ever since I got it in the fall of 2020 with148K miles.  It now has 210K miles. We are the third owner and it has never been in an accident.  Every suggested maintenance has been performed and he went over it again Jan 2026.  It has 70,000 mile Hancock tires bought in the fall of 2023. It is a unique vehicle because it looks cool, has reverse opening rear doors and were only made from 2003-2011. The back seats fold flat if you want to sleep back there and flip up and clip to the sides for a huge cargo capacity. You can slide a frig in there if you want.  I also have a 2004 and 2010 Elements and drove the 2004 cross country when it had 200K miles on it without any issues.
