Dayâs Parts Yard LLC Policies

Deposits

All deposits on vehicles and parts are non-refundable under any circumstance.

Returns and Refunds

1. Approval Required: All returns must be approved by Dayâs Parts Yard before being processed.
2. Return Shipping Costs:
   • Shipping costs are not refunded, as they were not charged during the initial purchase.
   • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, regardless of warranty status.
3. Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply to returned products, even if the product never left our facility.
4. Inspection Process:
   • Returned items must arrive via ground shipping within 14 days.
   • All returns will be inspected to ensure the product has not been cut, altered, damaged, or modified.
   • Refunds will be issued within 48 hours of inspection.
5. Non-Refundable Items:
   • No returns on engines, transmissions, or drivetrain components.
   • No returns for items shipped via freight or forwarded internationally.
6. Defective Parts: Defective items will be replaced if a replacement is in stock.

Warranty

1. Standard Warranty: All parts include a 30-day warranty unless otherwise noted. AS-IS items excluded.
2. Certified Installation Required: All parts must be installed by an ASE-certified mechanic. Proof required.
3. Warranty Exclusions:
   • Labor, reprogramming, and refinishing are not covered.
   • Wearable items like seats, brake pads, wipers, seals, clutches, ball joints, and tie rods are not covered.
   • Damage from improper fluid levels voids warranty.
4. Body Panels and Paint: Paint condition is not guaranteed. Refinishing is recommended.

Shipping Policies

1. Carriers: USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
2. Inspection: Inspect packages before signing. Signing for a damaged package without noting it voids refund eligibility.
3. PO Boxes: No shipping to PO boxes. Physical address required.
4. Shipping Area: Free ground shipping is offered to the lower 48 states.
5. Surcharge States: Additional freight/shipping charges apply to the following 22 states:
   
   AK, AZ, CA, CT, DE, HI, ID, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MT, NH, NJ, NY, ND, OR, PA, VT, WA, WI
   
   Note for eBay buyers: The surcharge for these states is not added at checkout. A representative from Dayâs Parts Yard will contact you after purchase to send a separate invoice for the shipping surcharge.
6. Processing Time: Ground items typically ship the next business day unless otherwise stated.

1. Delivery: Freight ships dock-to-dock or to commercial addresses only. Residential/liftgate delivery incurs extra charges.
2. Inspection: Note damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery. Failing to do so voids return/refund eligibility.
3. Processing Time: Freight items ship within 5 business days.
4. Fluid Levels: Engines, transmissions, and differentials ship dry. The customer must refill fluids properly. Damage due to insufficient fluids is not covered.
