1. The "Lemon" Buyback (The Good News)
In 2019, Ford reacquired this truck from the original owner due to "Engine Knock."
The Reality: This was the infamous "Cam Phaser" issue common to the 3.5L EcoBoost.
The Fix: Ford resolved this issue before releasing the truck back for sale. I have the paperwork showing the issue was addressed.
Current Status: The engine runs strong, quiet, and pulls hard. The "factory defect" has essentially been cured.
2. The Accident History
The Carfax shows an accident in 2018 involving "Front Right / Moderate Damage."
