The Hawk Performance HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads. HP Plus utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, High-Tech friction material that was developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II, and track day applications. The Ferro-Carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque values than other competitive materials.

HP Plus is popular with enthusiasts that are looking for excellent street performance or wanting take their car auto-crossing or to a track day and not have to worry about changing pads. The HP Plus will provide a very noticeable increase in brake torque and temperature range when compared to OEM pads. Usually recommended to beginners who have very little to no track experience and are looking for an upgrade over stock.

Hawk Brake Pad Installation Procedure

Install Brake pads properly. Be sure pads are securely positioned in the caliper.

Flush system with fresh brake fluid.

Check all hydraulic parts for excess wear and tear.

Check disc for proper thickness, parallelism, and lateral run-out.

Check disc for scoring or grooves over .012"" depth. If either applies, resurfacing or replacement is required.

If disc does not need resurfacing then contamination from the previous brake pads must be removed. Sand discs with Garnet sandpaper using moderate pressure. Use soap and water to clean off disc surface after sanding and machining. Discs should be free and clear of oil, grease, and brake fluid

Inspect calipers for freedom of movement. Lubricate where necessary

Hawk Brake Pad Bedding Procedure - Street Compounds

Make 6-10 slow-downs from approximately 30-35 mph to 5 mph. applying moderate pressure. Do not come to a complete stop.

Make an additional 2 to 3 harder stops from approximately 40-45 mph. to zero.

DO NOT DRAG THE BRAKES! (after stopping - do not leave your foot on the brake pedal)

Allow 15 minutes or more for the brake system to cool down.

Your new Hawk pads are ready for use.

This includes without limitation, damage to property, or other economic losses that may be incurred. Any, and all, warranty claims must be processed through CBF. All valid warranty claims will be replaced and/or reimbursed with Hawk Performance branded products of equal or greater value.

What are the delivery charges for the UK?

DELIVERY TO MAINLAND UK IS FREE.

We send orders via a recorded delivery, which will require a signature on receipt. If there is nobody available at the delivery address to accept the delivery a card will be left to inform the recipient how he or she can collect the parcel.

PLEASE NOTE: A working day is Monday - Friday and doesn't include bank holidays..

Returns

We offer a 14 working day returns and refund policy from the date of delivery in accordance to the DSR. You will receive the full refund to the value of the order (delivery costs not included).

The parcel must be returned in brand new condition, unopened and in the original packaging. The customer must bare the delivery cost of the return of the product/order.

This applies to all orders with us unless:

- Products that are ordered in error or that you changed your mind on will be entitled to a credit note at our discretion.

- Products that are faulty due to manufacturing process are entitled to a credit note under the manufacturers' warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions (usually three months). If a product is credit noted due to manufacturing defects, the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier. We will then offer you a credit note on return including all reasonable postage costs. This does not affect your statutory rights.

- Products that are damaged in transit to the customer CANNOT be refunded. If a product is damaged in transit the customer or recipient must NOT sign for the delivery. Instead the customer must refuse delivery by the courier and then contact us for further details.
