Ives Manual Double Semaphore All Original

Ok - here’s a wonderful example of the pre-war manual double flag semaphore from around 1910 made in Bridgeport CT in its original cream white and green paint as applied in the Bridgeport CT factory. I used to work near to the Ives Bpt plants and could spot all 3 locations from my window…#1 burnt down and they moved to spot #2 and started making the trains we now love but it became a furniture store after they left and now it is offices and then they moved to spot 3 which was torn down a few years ago . In any event this items needs solder repairs I will describe. The 3 solder points affixing the handrails to the catwalk have let do. Also the solder for the right hand flag pole as it enters the catwalk base has come loose. And finally the solder joint for the main pole as it enters the underside of the catwalk and the ladder arms at the catwalk base side have let go. Hopefully you are good at tin solder repairs and can do your best without damaging the original condition paint. The most significant original paint issue would be about 1/2 of the lower paint on the green flag is missing as shown. Good luck bidding. Thanks for looking. Oh yes - At about 15” tall with flags waved up and 8” wide this would look best on a standard gauge layout but works on a tin plate o gauge as well. This was always a non- lighted manual version. And the arms mechanisms works fine to raise and lower the flags once the solder joints are fixed. Only shipping to lower 48.
