Door cables can eventually become corroded and break, making it difficult to open your vehicle.
This front door cable connects the exterior door handle to the front door lock/latch. If this cable fails, you will not be able to open the front door from the outside.
Both the left and right side front doors use this same exterior handle cable, so it is interchangeable with passenger and driver doors.
