After facing bullying throughout her life - first as a child and later as an adult - she found strength through emotional growth, self-awareness, and the powerful "let them" philosophy: the idea that others' words and actions do not define who you are. Through her writing, Kelly hopes to empower young readers to trust themselves, embrace their worth, and walk through the world with confidence and kindness. Her debut book, Let Them Say... I'm Still Okay, is a heartfelt reminder that every child is already enough - just as they are. Outside of her creative pursuits, Kelly can often be found fishing, camping, hunting, and exploring the great outdoors with her three amazing children. She believes that nature, adventure, and unconditional love are some of life's greatest teachers.
