This is a vintage New Home Janome model 6033 sewing machine. It was made in Japan and is very heavy. It has an all metal exterior and interior with no Teflon or plastic gears. I have oiled it and greased it so you may smell a little ozone until it wears off. The machine has a double outlet. One is for plugging in the light and one is for the motor. If you plug them in and the machine runs nonstop, you have the plugs reversed. The machine is in nice condition with a few marks on the sewing bed.
It has a working light and runs at a blur. It has a 1.0 amp motor which makes it twice as powerful as most newer plastic machines. It can set on a table, go in a carrying case or go into a sewing cabinet. It has a set of buttons that allow you to drop the feed dogs so you can move the fabric around and do embroidery etc. This is a heavy machine. The buttons to lock in the Stitch Width etc., are pushed in and then moved. Shipping quote is for the contiguous states. Please no post office boxes.
