These rear brake dust shields are a supporting part for the REKUDO Suspension and JL8 Brake System - for 1968-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Dust shields are sold on pairs. These rear dust shields must be used with the following parts: Rear Caliper Mounting Brackets/Adapters: RK400-09 (pair) Rear Rotors: RK400-07 (pair) REKUDO Rear Brake Calipers RK400-11, RK400-13, RK400-20, RK400-22, or Factory 1968-1982 Corvette C3 Style 4-Piston Rear Brake Calipers Fits Vehicles with Factory Rear Axle with Staggered Rear Shocks The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade (Corvette style 4-piston calipers for both front and rear) was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "Heavy Duty Service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA), and Trans-Am® road racing series. This unique brake option is very rare and was only sold on about 200 production vehicles.. Requires Minimum 15" Diameter Wheels to fit the Large 11.75" Rotors for this Brake System.
