Early 1972, x-wifey 1 and I bought our first home. No basement, single car garage - no room for trains!
I had a copy of ‘BRIDGES AND BUILDINGS FOR MODEL RAILROADS’. I saw this bridge and decided to build it. I ordered the wood, when it all came I put a small piece of plywood on the living room carpet and began to build - my first scratch build! This is that bridge! It has followed me through several homes in three different states and has been repaired several times. It needs some minor repair now on the underside, small cross pieces broken off. Not perfect by any means, but I think still a very nice bridge.
HO SCALE, bridge is 19” long, rail tips are at 22-1/2”. I THINK the rail is code 70…
