Published in 1942 during the Showa era, this Japanese book served as a technical reference or textbook published by the Shukyosha Shoin house in Tokyo. The "Ramen" method of construction became the gold standard for Japanese building - especially for fire and earthquake resistance. German engineering methods were referenced in the book. There were 1,000 copies of the 5th printing.
