The Stagg SDM70 cardioid dynamic mic from Stagg would make a great multipurpose microphone for vocal and instrumental recording or performance use. Despite the amazing price, the mic is of great quality, featuring a zinc alloy case and DC18 moving coil cartridge. The mic has a balanced XLR connector . If that wasn't enough, it comes supplied with a 5m Stagg XLR to XLR mic cable all packed in a strong plastic storage carry case.
