Parts Grading
A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

A Grade - The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.
B Grade - The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age.
C Grade - The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light damage.
No Grade - A part that has not yet been graded.

All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. Payments are processed through eBay. We accept credit card and cash for Local Pickup orders. If payment is not received, an Unpaid Item case will be opened for the sake of seller fee reimbursement.

Items are shipped after receiving cleared payment. We ship to US addresses within the continental 48 states. Shipping to AK, HI, PO Box, APO, FPO & US Protectorates: please contact first as we may be able to arrange shipping for an additional charge (depending on the part). Freight items must have a commercial address and part fitment must be verified via VIN prior to shipment.

International orders are shipped via eBay’s Global Shipping Program.

Freight/LTL Shipping:

Free freight/LTL shipping is available to business address in the western region. Please see our freight table to see additional shipping charges outside of the western region.

LTL Freight carriers require a commercially-zoned business address with a loading dock or forklift to unload the item. Most of our customers choose to ship directly to the shop that is installing their part as long as it is a commercially-zoned business address.

Residential delivery is not included in the free shipping or our regional shipping charges. We have access to specialty freight carriers that can deliver to a residential address. There may be additional fees for this service, so please contact us first to get a shipping quote.

If you cannot provide a commercial business address, we can deliver this part to a freight terminal for your pickup at no additional charge. Please contact us first so that we can give you the location of your closest freight terminal. Terminal delivery is subject to carrier availability, and may not be available at all times.

Small Parcel Shipping UPS/FedEx:

Free shipping on all small parcel orders.

All orders placed will ship within 3 business days of orders being placed. 

This part will ship via UPS or FedEx with live tracking information. You will receive a message with tracking information as soon as your part ships. Please allow up to 6 business days for your part to arrive.

All parts must be returned in their original condition to receive full credit. Details regarding timeframe as well as payment for return shipping are outlined in the return section at the top of each individual eBay listing. Please message us with questions.

B&R Automotive proudly offers a 6-month/7,200 mile part replacement warranty from the date of the invoice on all parts sold, unless otherwise noted. We do not cover labor charges.

B&R Automotive does not guarantee mileage. Abuse, negligence, commercial/industrial use, or installation in an application other than that which the manufacturer intended voids all warranties. If a warranty applies to the purchased part, it must be returned to a B&R location.

All parts warranties are limited to no more than the purchase price of the item. No Labor or any other charges related to the sale or installation of this product are warranted.

Warranties are non-transferable. Our warranty is binding only with the original purchase and item on this invoice and claims will be handled directly with the original purchaser. Contact B&R immediately prior to removing or repairing any components. We require the original repair receipts and subsequent maintenance receipts prior to considering any warranty claim.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the product(s) purchased is not part of any manufacturer’s recall. B&R Automotive cannot guarantee the present or future recall status of any product purchased. B&R Automotive expressly denies any liability related to recalls and as stated herein.

Engine:

are sold as interchangeable long block, actual year and model may differ. The warranty covers the long block assembly (block, heads, and internally lubricated parts). External parts and accessories are not covered under warranty and may require replacement for the specific application. Timing belts, thermostat, water pump and other maintenance items must be replaced. Radiators must be flow tested or replaced (receipts required). Inspect and replace seals and gaskets as needed. Engine oil pans must be re-sealed. Unauthorized dismantling of heads or blocks void the warranty. If heat tabs are melted or removed, warranty void.

Transmission:

are sold as an interchangeable unit, actual year and model may differ. We remove oil pans to inspect automatic transmissions. Purchaser must replace seals, gaskets, and filter before installation and re-seal the oil pan. Torque converter must be properly seated and aligned to the front pump. Cooling lines must be flushed of debris before installing. Fill with fluid according to manufacturer’s recommended type and level. This warranty does not cover fluid leaks, switches, sensors or any labor charges.

Transfer Case:

are sold as an interchangeable unit, actual year and model may differ. Warranty does not include shift motor, switches, sensors, or seals. Inspect and replace as needed. Fill with fluid according to manufacturer’s recommended type and level.

Axle and Differentiaol Assemblies:

are sold as an interchangeable unit, actual year and model may differ. Warranty is limited to the housing, gears, and axle shafts. Brakes, seals, sensors, and lines should be inspected and replaced as needed. Confirm proper gear ratio prior to installation. Fill with fluid according to manufacturer’s recommended type and level.

Air Bag:

must be installed and inspected by a factory trained and certified technician. Check with the dealer as components may be different. B&R Automotive will assume NO liability or warranty related to this air bag or components. Any recycled air bag that is not installed correctly will subject passengers in a vehicle to risks of serious injuries, potentially including death. The purchaser of a recycled air bag assumes all risks of damages or injuries, including death, which may arise as a result of the improper installation of recycled air bag. B&R makes absolutely NO warranty express or implied, as to the fitness for a general or particular purpose or of merchantability in connection with any sale of recycled air bags. Recycled air bags are not tested to meet any safety standards.
