System Sensor SC24115 ceiling mount series strobes and horn/strobes offer a fresh approach to addressing the unique needs for ceiling mount applications.

In fact, like the original SpectrAlert, the SpectrAlert ceiling mount series offers significant current draw reductions over other ceiling mount strobes and horn/strobes. SpectrAlert’s compact design also offers installation savings. Also, the strobe and horn/strobe models mount to a 4˝×4˝×11⁄2˝ backbox, and take up little room in the backbox, making connections easier. And with SpectrAlert’s round shape, it is not necessary to align the backbox with the room’s walls. SpectrAlert always lines up.

SpectrAlert ceiling mount strobes and horn/strobes are available in seven different candelas, including 177 candelas for sleeping areas. Besides, the horn/ strobe’s tones are field-selectable through the use of a three-position switch located on the back of the unit. Selections include electromechanical and 3 kHz tones, temporal as well as non-temporal patterns, and high and low volume.

In general, the System Sensor SC24115 Red Ceiling Strobe offers a design that is sensitive to the aesthetic demands of ceiling mount applications. Furthermore, the round shape maintains a low profile appearance; similar to that of a smoke detector, and provides clearly visible “FIRE” identification from all angles.
