Installation Requirements

This Engine Control Module (ECM/PCM) is a direct replacement, pre-programmed to your VIN, but it requires immobilizer relearn (key programming) after installation.

To complete installation, you will need one of the following:

• An automotive locksmith

• A key programming tool or advanced scan tool (capable of performing immobilizer/key relearn)

In many cases, you will also need to perform a crankshaft variation relearn to clear codes such as P0315/P1336. This procedure also requires a capable scan tool.

• VIN Required – Please provide your 17-digit VIN at checkout or via message so we can program the ECM

• Know Before You Buy – You will need access to key programming equipment or a professional locksmith

• Don't Need Programming? – Let us know at checkout if you prefer to receive the ECM without programming. You will need to program it yourself after installation. To ensure compatibility, we recommend sending us your VIN or the part number so we can double-check fitment.
