DESCRIPTION
Synhouse has customers in 43 countries.
Synhouse ships to your country and has since before eBay existed.
If you are looking at a small/normal item in the Synhouse eBay listings and seeing no shipping options to your area or seeing a notice that says the seller doesn't ship to your address, this is incorrect. I've been shipping to Australia, England, etc. since 1990, five years before eBay even existed, and eBay has deleted ALL the shipping options and prices I've spent many hours setting up, in order to enable eBay International Shipping, and then tells people in the most commonly shipped to countries that shipping is not available there. This is fake and idiotic; eBay had already been shipping there with the eBay Global Shipping Program for a few years, now says they don't with eBay International Shipping AND deleted my own shipping options without my permission or knowledge, when it could have and should have been left in place as an option because at least it WORKS and eBay doesn't know what they are doing.
This goes WAY back to 2017 with people in New Zealand (one of the most commonly shipped to Synhouse countries) telling me that I don't ship there, and 1) multiple calls to eBay didn't solve it, 2) they sometimes said they solved it but didn't, and 3) said "Uhm, wait 24 hours and it will be working.", which is how eBay gets you off the phone. And I could never get that New Zealand problem solved. The new problem since early 2023 is eBay deleting my own shipping options in order to put theirs in, then theirs tells people no, the seller doesn't ship there, but I CAN manually set up a shipping method (usually with Synhouse it's one price each for USA, Canada, Asia/Australia, and the rest of the world.
Now I'm getting messages like these:
5/16/2023: Hi, Wondering how much shipping would be to Canada, postal code T2N 2P7. Thanks!
Can you enable the ebay international shipping option for me? I am very interested.
1/1/2024: Hi there can you post to London uk and how much would postage be?
Hi how much would postage be to London England
Thanks for your reply. Im trying to check out but im get the message saying seller doesn't ship to your address. Please advise as i really need the new faceplate.
1/30/2024: Hello synhouse, I have a T8 and would like to buy your Optical-Emitter-Set just to make sure to have it in the future. Is there a reason you don't ship to Germany?
If you see that any small/normal Synhouse item does not ship to you/your area, this is FAKE and wrong, please send an eBay message to tell me and I can manually enter shipping to your area AGAIN.
Sorry for this incompetent platform I've been struggling with for 25 years now...

This is the PCB type connector that makes the connection between the membrane button panel and main board.
The Sequential Prophet-600 membrane panel (or Synhouse replacement control panel with 19 real mechanical switches) connects to the main PCBA with one of these connectors. If you have the skills to desolder the old one and replace it with this, it's a good connectivity upgrade for your Sequential Prophet-600.
It's not necessarily going to fix all your problems, though.
I can confirm that sometimes the problems in connectivity are the plastic flexible flat cables coming out of the old membrane that might be cracking with practically just plain carbon as a conductor, and it's splitting and acting intermittent, which changes when you wiggle it, but the mating connectors are a lesser cause of the problem as well, and at age 43+, could stand to be renewed with this very rare type of connector.
This sort of connector is never of the high reliability type, so no one ever intended several decades of use out of them.
The parts here from Synhouse are made from glass fiber filled hard nylon (you can see this rough fiber-filled surface in the well-lit ultra-closeup high resolution photos, and ask yourself why only Synhouse has the good photos and everyone else just has intentionally blurry/small photos of their parts) for strength and to prevent cracking and come from a greatly preferred Synhouse connector supplier.
Synhouse has more experience in, well, lulz, no one BUT Synhouse is in any way involved in long term failure analysis, comparing the connectors of one factory to another, etc.. Anyone else on here just buys whatever overseas seller part they can find, and it's often their only choice, and it's a very cheap commercial part, and not one of them ever got them from a factory or even knew the address where they were made. Synhouse is the opposite, it's decades of this.
Some of these joke drum/synth parts sellers on here have a list of dozens or even hundreds of parts, every one of which they just bought from someone else and raised the price while adding no value at all. You know the ones, the ones selling the tact switches for MPCs (bruh, those don't cost me a penny and there are two thousand factories making them for 48 years now), the function switches for SPs (the crap they get that almost breaks your finger because the spring is so tight and has the stupid top side round they're not supposed to have, I can get those for fifteen cents and I wouldn't take them even if they were free because they ruin your control panel), their list of parts is really just a list of parts that Synhouse wouldn't touch for a few reasons. There's a reason why your own eyes can see Synhouse getting more money for more parts over more years than anyone else, and why most of the better known competitors are buying from Synhouse when it's never been the other way around.
------------------------------
Combined shipping on the panel and connector:
If you are buying one of the Synhouse Sequential Prophet-600 panels with 19 real mechanical switches or the Synhouse plain membrane replacement Prophet-600 panel at the same time, look for the Synhouse 2-part combined shipping special listing so you'll only pay the shipping on the larger item, and if you don't see it because I forgot to relist it, please tell me in advance to make the combined shipping special listing for you and I'll set it up.
------------------------------
But no one SHOULD get a plain membrane from ANY seller when a proper mechanical panel exists. The Synhouse membrane was produced secondary to the mechanical panel only to counter the plain membrane already out there at a lower price when people should have the better mechanical part ($20 price difference to Synhouse 2023-2024, $79 vs. $99 Synhouse). And once again, the Synhouse strategy clearly worked, the loser is now out there crawling on the floor with the inferior part going begging at less than half their own 2017 price (and now it's grown to a $64 price difference to Synhouse 2025, $35 vs. $99 Synhouse) while the two from Synhouse are selling consistently.
Check the completed auctions at any time 4/1/2017-present and see who dominates anything in any of these categories, it's Synhouse, ALWAYS.
Looking at 90 days completed auctions on these items as of the day of this writing 1/1/2026, Synhouse sales are QUADRUPLE everyone else combined on the Prophet-600 panel category, but this is typical.

About Synhouse:
Synhouse Multimedia Corporation (best known as the manufacturer of the world's #1 analog MIDI retrofit, the Synhouse MIDIJACK) has been in business for 26 years and has been manufacturing from day one. Synhouse existed for 4 years informally before incorporation, officially incorporated in 1999. Twenty-six years later, those first products (the Synhouse Original MIDIJACK, MIDIJACK II, and Moogiestyle MIDIJACK) are still being manufactured.
------------------------------
There is a minimum shipping price for all of my small components and a different minimum for a very low value item or for something $50 or more. However, I can ship almost any number of parts for the international shipping that it shows for most of those items. So if you want, for example, an SP1200 overlay and some knobs and some switches, or knobs and switches and potentiometers or whatever, just let me know IN ADVANCE and I will set up a special listing for you so that you will only pay the shipping once. This is if you tell me IN ADVANCE, not if you ask for it later because any shipping money paid has already been docked 14.9% by eBay managed payments and that money is not coming back. Yes, eBay takes the same percentage of the stated shipping charge as they do on the item since 2011. So let me know in advance and I can set it up so that you can save a lot of money by buying and shipping the parts together.
I can also set up special listings for different quantities of items sometimes. Usually the price is the same per item but I can set it up and that saves a lot of money on shipping.
