Questions Answered for FREE! NO Key - will need programming at the dealer!Removed from a 2007 Ford Focus this is the engine control module or ECM for a 2.0L engine with an automatic transmission. With the Ford "Passive Anti-Theft System", or PATS for short, the computer is programmed to recognize a specific key. This computer does not include the key so you will need to take your vehicle to the dealer for programming. Please check my other auctions as sometimes I have PCMs available with the key which can save you the trip to the dealer. Thanks for looking!
Part number is 6S4A-12A650-TB also TA or KB. Please check carefully to make sure you have the correct part number for your vehicle.
We test all of our computers. We take the time to list them properly. A change in our return policy is necessary due to the increasing number of people who fall in to 1 of 2 categories:
1) They buy the computer as a poor guess of what's going on with their car. New computer “didn't fix it”, have to return it and try my next guess...
2) They don't understand Ford’s anti theft system and that the computer requires a MATCHING KEY before it allows the engine to start.
If I send you the wrong item it's on me, otherwise please UNDERSTAND there is a 20% restocking FEE on returned computers, the most EBAY will allow. Realistically it's not even worth that so if you fall in one of the previously mentioned categories I'd rather you just bought somewhere else...
P.S. I fix Ford Focuses for a living.
