Frequently Asked Questions
1.) Question - Is the glass included?
Answer - The door glasses are included. The back glass and windshield are not included. Most local glass shops can easily supply those.
2.) Question - Will the Cab fit any frame other than a stock 1935 Ford?
Answer - Any other frame must be modified or built to allow the use of this cab. Please see the attached drawing to decide how much your chassis may need to be modified.
3.) Question - Will Stock 1935 Ford components work with this cab?
Answer - This cab is very similar to stock. Please note it does have a 3" Chop on the roof.
4.) Question - Does the cab need to be painted?
Answer - The cab has a black gel coat finish. Even though it is a one piece product, it is manufactured in multiple section moulds. This leaves part lines on the surface which will need to be sanded. While they are minimal, once sanded they may have a slightly different color.
5.) Question - What is the shipping cost?
Answer - While shipping cost vary, most cabs ship in the lower 48 states average about $650.00. We ship terminal to the closest terminal to your zip code. This is the most cost effective way. Locations closer and along major highways will be less while remote locations are usually higher. Zip code is required for all shipping quotes. There is a $200.00 " Crate Charge ".
6.) Question - Is the cab available with any other roof height ( chop )?
Answer - No. Our investment mould will only produce a 3" Chop on the roof.
