Here is an ultra rare opportunity. If you had one of these in the 1940s, you had the Cadillac of trucks. This is one of only 7000 model 201 Diamond T trucks made some 77 years ago. From 1939 to 1949 these Diamond T 201s were made. Diamond T was known for their large industrial trucks. The 201 was the smallest truck they produced but was still rated as a 1 ton. This is a very nice example. I have all five original hubcaps as well. Sets of these hubcaps sell for $3000.00 or more, if you can even find them. All the lights and gauges work, both sections of the windshield crank out individually to cool the driver and passenger, which is a cool feature. The body is very nice, no rot or rust through. Built like a tank. Diamond T did not make their engines, they came with an in-line, six cylinder, Hercules QX flathead engine. The truck has an in-line Chevrolet 292 6 Cylinder Engine. So easy to find parts if you ever needed them. The truck runs great. The original four-speed transmission shift as it should. Brakes are great and stop the truck straight. The clutch is fairly new.
