1959 Chevrolet Viking LCF (low cab forward) truck.  

This is a cool old truck that would be great for a hauler project or whatever you have in mind. I'll include a few pics of other trucks like it, just to show what they can look like. This is the Big back window version of these trucks, which is generally more desirable. Most restoration parts for a pickup will work on the bigger trucks like these, making restoration easier. I do not have the title back yet but it is already processing with the state, so I should have it in a couple weeks. I can help arrange transport if needed. If your primarily interested in the truck and not the chassis, I can remove the flatbed to make it considerable lighter for transportation. This is a hydraulic dump bed. After bed is removed I can also cut off the frame overhang if you don't plan to use this chassis. I cannot take the cab/front clip off the chassis. It is probably the same cost to just ship it rolling, versus trying to ship just the cab/front clip. This truck has what looks like the original V8. It's a 283 or 327 I believe. It has a 2-barrel carb. The previous owner said that it does not run. That's all I know about it. The clutch/transmission works for braking and parking. This has the 5-speed manual transmission. It rolls and steers fine. I have not put a battery in it to check any electrical stuff. I like the older COE trucks, but the LCF has more room, especially for taller people. I've owned several older full COE trucks, and they don't have as much cab room. The LCF trucks are like a partial cab over engine.
