1962 Buick Skylark restored and moderately modified for a thrilling ride. Photos were taken on 5/29/26. This car was repainted and re-chromed. It has a very nice original interior in great shape. Straight lines and nice even gaps. 15 inch rims with BF Goodrich tires. The engine is V8 with a Crower racing camshaft. Dual two barrel carburetors are freshly rebuilt. Flowmaster muffler sounds great. Brand new J30R9 fuel lines are insulated. Two brand new Earl's Performance Vapor Guard fuel filters are in-line pre and post, 100 Microns and 10 Microns respectively, around the new fuel pump. The fuel pump stays cooler with a 1/8 inch phenolic spacer between the fuel pump and the block. A brand new fuel pressure regulator with a high quality liquid filled pressure gauge that has an equalization valve to release the pressure to show a real reading when hot. Brand new brakes all around including wheel cylinders, brake hoses and DOT 5 silicone brake fluid which has several advantages over DOT 3. New wheel bearings freshly packed. New NGK spark plugs, Petronix spark plug wires, distributor, coil and battery. New fan belt. New shocks on all 4. New sway bar bushings and end links. Fresh greasing of all zerk fittings. All fluids are fresh. Fresh oil change with Lucas Hotrod oil 10W30 which has zinc in it. K&N oil filter. Fresh antifreeze and new Edelbrock 8603 thermostat. The original radio works. Everything works. LED headlights light up the road. Turns heads everywhere and gets lots of compliments. Car show winner multiple times. Very well kept. Always garaged. Never driven in bad weather.
