1971 VW Volkswagen Rat Rod Truck with a clean title to reflect as a 1971 VW Beetle.

This classic rat rod head turner was built near Cincinnati, Ohio by a rat rod enthusiast and is currently stored in Okeana, Ohio in a barn. Garage kept since its creation.
It sits on a Toyota pickup chassis, has a 1984 Ford Pinto 2.1 Engine, with an automatic transmission from the same Ford Pinto.
It has real 1940 Ford wheels with newer tires on the spoke wheels.
It has 1940 Ford Front cowling but the hood was fashioned from an old farm tractor!
Fuel tank (cell) and battery are located in the truck bed with a stained/wooden cover and working tailgate.
Truck runs well and gets photographed everywhere it goes.
Has no heat or a/c, dash is from unknown manufacturer and all gauges work except for the gas gauge (reads opposite) and the speedometer/odometer. Mileage reads about 125k but true mileage is unknown due to the odometer not working.
Turn Signals do not work.
Steering column is new. Interior door panels and headliner, and carpet is new.
