1972 DeTomaso Pantera with lots of ($$) updates installed to make it a daily driver. Includes recent new clutch pack, complete Wilwood
System, major service completed recently.Special radiator is a lightweight aluminum, special water pump with an underdrive pulley that in turn slows down the flow (not speed it up) through the radiator letting it cool the antifreeze more, (and free up a bit of H.P) plus a pair of Spal's 1650's, Cleveland dedicated thermostat, S/S cooling tanks, + timing control for idling, all working together to cure Pantera HEATING problems most all Panteras were initially plagued with, and some still are! This car runs 185-190 all day long even sitting in hot Florida sun idling but it took a special combination of the right parts to make it do so. This car never ran hot under my wrench. The original owner was a Federal Agent, worked the docks Port of Miami. He drove this car in Miami stop & go traffic using A/C & never once overheated.
New brake master, belts, upper & lower control arm suspension bushings all around, new front and rear wheel bearings, steering rack, alignment, pilot bushing and throw-out bearing, clutch slave, reseal transaxle, modern alternator update, fresh Holley, major tune-up items include plugs & wires, cap & rotor, I installed an Electronic Ignition Module with Ping Control w/ECM as mentioned above, to back off timing if using low octane fuel or idling in hot sun. Fresh oil/filter and transaxle fluids, parts books and service manuals included. You should not have to put any more $$$ into this car, runs and drives great. Engine was rebuilt for performance over 10 years ago and still has less than 8000 miles on it, PLUS Mind Train Exhaust, you won't be sneaking up on anyone with this car! Did you happen to notice another 8 GRAND in 10" & 8's DeTomaso Campagnolo wheels by chance? You NEVER see those anymore! + Pirellis afore mentioned that have hardly any miles on them. See what I mean? Paint is great! I sold the car in 2021 to California, bought it back last year, I missed it. As you can see lot's of coin has been put into this car. I'm pretty much the ONLY one that's worked on it since the mid '80's for the guy I bought it from back then.
