Have owned for about 3 years. Selling because I have bought another bike and lost interest. I rode the bike daily for a couple summers, it’s a great rider. I have done a lot of work to it to get it in, and keep it in riding condition as follows:
-Clean and rebuild carbs
-Sync carbs
-New spark plugs, plug wires and coils
-Upgraded to electronic ignition
-adjust valves
-time ignition
- rebuilt brake caliper and replace pads
-flush brake fluid
-stainless braided brake hose
- new engine oil and filter
- new fork oil-replaced carb boots
Tires still have life and a recent compression check yielded approx. 150psi across all cylinders. No smoking front exhaust at any time. I installed “Murray’s Carbs”. They are not tuned 100% correctly and I am not Interested in getting them the rest of the way there. They run very high stung and the revs need to stay high for the bike to be happy which is just not my riding style. If you don’t like it either I have the stock carbs ready to go. Buyer is responsible for final tuning. Have all the parts that have come off parts.Questions welcome!
