1978 Ford F250
4x4
Fuel injected 460 and 5 spd manual with hydraulic clutch
Believe engine, transmission and clutch are out of a mid 90’s Ford F250. Engine and transmission were rebuilt prior to install all done by a shop in Denver by previous owner. I do not have any paperwork on this work. Cab is from a F-150 sitting on what I believe is a F-250 frame. Has a Dana 60 rear end and Dana 44 front end with 4.10 gears. Believe transfer case is a NP205. It is titled as a F-250 with a Colorado assigned title, currently titled and licensed in Nebraska.
Just replaced front spider gears, front axles and u joints.
Runs and drives good, will run interstate speeds no problem.
Needs windshield wiper motor, wipers and it leaks a little gas out the top of gas tank when clear full, I think the ring that holds fuel sending unit in or a line needs tightened since tank is pretty new I just haven’t pulled the flatbed off to do it yet. Interior needs a few little things like trim piece around gear shift boot but overall it's a great driver. Light hail dings on hood but don't really notice unless sun is hitting it right.
Has rear air bags and Air-rite compressor but wireless remote control currently isn’t working.
