This Subaru spent its life in the high desert, so it is solid and in great condition. The EA71 1.6 liter engine has been rebuilt by a classic car machine shop with less than 500 miles since rebuild. The transmission has been thoroughly inspected and resealed by a highly respected transmission shop. The whole Brat has been inspected, with many parts having been replaced or refurbished. This Brat runs and drives well. 4 Wheel drive works as it should with no issues. Lights and gauges work as they should as does the wipers and crank windows. The rear slider window slides easily with no damage. Windshield is clear and in good condition with a new windshield seal. The one of a kind rear seats in the Brat were a way for Subaru to elude the "Chicken Tax" at the time and are in great condition as well as have the original seatbelts! The bed of the truck has been rhino lined for a clean look while still able to withstand daily use. The interior is clean and includes new carpet, and even has the original stereo and clock. The inner glove box will need to be reinstalled and will be included. Seats are in good condition with no rips or damage.
