Please do not hit buy it now without contacting me first(no exceptions). And I do not use eBay’s new payout method, I’ll accept either CASH in person or a bank wire transfer if you are far away, after a non refundable $500 deposit paid either Zelle or PP.
First off, I bought this baby back in 2003 out of Middle Tennessee.
It previously had damage to right door and maybe some to right fender(I honestly can’t remember, really it was bought for me late brother?).
Also, it started life a pewter color car.
We had it painted a beautiful blood red color from a 2003 Honda Accord(it was the best red I could find at the time).
The pic of a pic whenever it’s by an American flag was taken July 4th 2003.
Right after this pic was taken I drove it 75 miles away to my hometown where my brother lived and he put it on his showroom floor of his business next to a couple of other classic vehicles and it sat there until 2/17/26.
Paint’s never seen a harsh Tx summer so it’s really great
looking paint job still.
It’s by no means any type of show paint job but it’s better than driver quality!
Interior is in good condition overall but it needs a good detail(it has some wear on drivers seat where you get in and out, typical, sunroof headliner needs to be reglued, and right side of dash is warped or something as shown in pics).
Here’s things I’ve done to it since it’s been back in my possession: it has a new battery, it has a new fuel pump, and it has a brand new set of white wall tires.
It runs fantastically but carb will need to be serviced(it was performing 100 perfectly but not it seems like float is sticking at times and whenever it sticks it wants to die, this is only while idiling).
And this is all that I’ve done to it.
I remember us being told that it has an upgraded 350 crate motor in it that only had 3,000 miles on it since it had been installed(originally car came with a 305).
AC will need to be recharged but before it was parked back in 2003 AC was ice cold and I’m sure it will be again with freon.
The only other thing I can think of that I noticed doesn’t work right is sunroof. It works but you have to play with it to make it sit all the way up.
It’s kind of a light project car but it’s definitely a great running and driving one!
And it’s definitely priced right too!
I’ll be listing my blue 89 one too soon for the same price.
I can recommend a fast/reliable auto transporter if needed if you are far away(my guy of over 27 years).
Thanks for looking…
