This van sat for about 10 years in the Southern Oregon and my wife and I bought it for Valentines day a 4 years ago. Trailered it home and I rebuilt it from the pistons up (what's not been done (because it hasn't indicated need) piston rings down, and transmission)…she fired right up and has never let us down. 1.9l Waterboxer CA compliant advance retard distributor. All stock except the radio, seats, PSI gauge, interior and headlights and rack. Fridge removed for more storage. My wife's dad was moving from OH to AK and his van broke down in Ventura CA….one day I was working on the motor and looked up and found a Ventura Community College district staff parking permit from 88-89….another day under the seat I found a "j" and a marina dry cleaning voucher from Oxnard dated 1988. I always felt Grandpa John was with us when we rallied in this ole girl. Ends up his van was the same color but we found a picture of him playing chess in the Sespe and the fuel tank was on the opposite side. I'd love this thang to get back to Ventura CA someday. (were from LB and Ojai and live in SW WA since the Thomas Fire in 2017). Clean WA, title in my name. Delivery arrangements or meet up at Portland International Airport no problem. Ask any questions you have. Thanks!
