This is a nice vintage 1986 Honda XL600R enduro. This starts up nice, usually one or 2 kicks, (with the proper technique, look it up on youtube). This runs great, and drives through the gears nicely, and is a good runner. This is up to the task of being your daily if you so choose. This would also make a nice candidate for a full restoration as it has great bones. These are worth a lot of $$ when properly restored (view the last picture, that is a bike that sold at a recent auction, that is NOT this bike) This one is not perfect, someone painted the engine black and got overspray on the frame and stuff, I am not sure if the plastics are original or not, and there is some cracking, hazing on them. There is a slow oil drip (maybe get about a nickel size drop on the floor after a month or so), the turn signals are losely mounted, I think the nut inside is just spinning when I try to tighten them up. At the moment, the left turn signals are not working, they worked the last time I rode it around the yard, but then I started it up and ran it in the garage a couple weeks ago and the lefts weren't working. I am guessing a wire came loose, I might fix it before it gets sold, or I might not get to it. All other electrical works properly, headlight, tail light, brake light and switches, ignition and kill switch, charging system, horn, all good. We can help arrange shippung at your expense, or you arrange shipping, or better yet, come pick it up. We took this on trade for some equipment, so I don't know its history, but I will try to answer any questions you have. It comes with a service manual, and some extra gaskets, etc. Probably even has a replacement gasket for the one that is leaking. I ride this around the yard from time to time, (it's pretty fun and has lots of power) so mileage is changing a little.
