1986 Pontiac Bonneville. This is the small Bonneville not the big one. The car is a creampuff with only 19k original miles on it. It drives as such. Now 40 years old it has normal wear and a couple of scuffs here and there but nothing to write home about. Original paint everywhere. What chrome it has looks excellent, (grill, headlight/taillight bezels and rocker moldings, etc.). Rubber bumper impact inserts are excellent. Emblems look new (they are not) just look it.
interior is excellent. No rips and no cracks on the dash. I put an expensive cover on it to protect it as we had planned on keeping it for a long time. But things change.
Vinyl top excellent with no rips. The weather strip on all the doors and in the trunk is still supple feeling and looks like a 19k mile car.
All the glass looks very nice front to back. Back glass has the factory rear heater in it, (also called the rear window defogger).
Paint still has a shine to it and it does NOT need to be repainted.
Runs excellent with plenty of power to keep up. Tires look new; (date code is Nov 2023). Original Pontiac wheels really sets it off. They have locking nuts; (lock (KEY) is in the glove compartment along with Pontiac information booklets).
Pontiac am/fm radio with dual factory speakers in front and in rear. Nice clear sound. Electric antenna does not work. I leave it at a low position and it gets good reception. Can be raised manually.
Everything else works properly. Lights, wipers, horn, AC is cold (changed to R134 in 2023) heat is hot, Gauges work as they should, Bell dings when the key is inserted and when the lights are left on, turn signals work as they should, clock keeps good time, third brake light works along with all other lights and side lights. Package tray looks excellent. Spare tire never used (space saver) and jack is where it should be. Oil just changed and the anti-freeze is good to -25. Transmission shifts as designed and the fluid still looks good. Brakes are excellent as well as the exhaust system. New Catalytic converter this year.
If you want an older car that still has the feel of a new car this may be the one for you. Just got back from a 50 mile trip so you should be able to drive it home wherever you live. That being said I am selling the car with no warranty. This is a very nice car that could provide a family with years of service without todays high costs and repair bills. And pretty much any one can work on these without having to take it to a dealer for the computer adjustments of todays new vehicles.
I don't think I missed much but if you want other pics or additional information you can call me at 863-665-0620
I am a resident of Lakeland Florida since 1977.
Also I DO NOT ACCEPT the Caramel thru ebay. Only cash in person or wire transfer and that needs to clear before the car leaves.
Happy to help the driver if you should decide to transport.
