1989 Ford F-250 4 Wheel Drive. My brother purchased the
truck new in 1989 and I bought the truck in 1999, so I am the second owner. I
have had the engine complexly rebuilt and there are about 25,000 miles on the
rebuilt engine. The engine is a 460 cubic inch and the transmission is
automatic. The truck came equipped originally with the 4:10 gear option, and
the truck will pull almost any type of trailer. There are 2 gas tanks with a
total capacity of 32 gallons. The original mileage is 168,500 and I have only
driven the truck about 30,000 miles over the past 27 years. The truck is red
and could use a paint job and there are no major dents or accidents. The truck
bed is straight except a minor are near the cab and there is a truck liner bed.
The tires and brakes are good but the truck really needs new shocks. The
headliner is damaged and needs replacement and the windshield wipers still need
some work as they do not operate. The seats were replaced before I bought the
truck and there are no rips or tears. The air conditioner works and a new
battery was installed last month. There is a second "camper" battery
that requires replacement and the truck was originally equipped with the camper
option. The truck was smog tested this week and passed inspection and the
registration is current until July 2026. There were years when I did not drive
the truck more than maybe 10 miles. This is a good work truck or a project
truck for a truck enthusiast and is more capable than most new trucks today.
