About this vehicle
This is a classic 1991 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado. With 2WD, automatic transmission, and 8 ft bed, this truck has proven it can do it all.
It has some surface rust on the body, with pits in the rockers. The frame is covered in surface rust but is solid underneath and ready to be restored for its next adventure.
This truck is completely drivable, but it weeps coolant at the hose connection to the intake manifold, bolt stripped. There is also a vacuum leak to the intake manifold, and the intake manifold gasket(s) are leaking. I top off the fluids about once a month. It has 146,956 miles and counting as I am still driving during the selling process.
It is loud, that’s is because the exhaust is rusted in spots on both sides all the way to the manifolds on the 5.7 V8.
If your looking for good bones for your next project, this is the one. All the lights work, the horn blows, and there ain’t nothing wrong with the radio.
