Installation Steps:
1.Inspection and Preparation:
Inspect the threads at the end of the support rod to ensure the component is intact. If replacing an old rod, remove the existing support rod with a screwdriver first.
2.Determine the Position:
Open the door/cover to its maximum position and measure to determine the installation position. Typically, the upper part (piston rod end) is installed on one side of the cover plate, and the lower part (cylinder end) is installed near the top of the cabinet or enclosure.
3.Install Connectors/Supports:
Secure the metal ball joint supports of the support rod to the cover plate and cabinet respectively. If unsure, it is recommended to tighten only one screw initially for later adjustment.
4.Secure the Support Rod:
Press the support rod down and snap it into the upper and lower connecting supports. It is recommended to install with the piston rod (thin rod) facing down and the cylinder (thick cylinder) facing up for better sealing.
5.Testing and Adjustment:
After installation, try opening and closing the cover to ensure smooth support and no short-distance overtightening.

1.Installation Direction:
Generally, installing the gas strut hydraulic rod at a downward angle (piston rod head downwards) maintains better lubrication and sealing performance.
2.Position Not Too Short:
If the door cannot close after installation, it is usually due to insufficient distance. The connecting support position should be adjusted.
3.Safe Cooperation:
When installing a car tailgate or large flap, someone needs to assist in supporting the door.
4.Protect the Piston Rod:
Do not apply paint, chemicals, or scratch the piston rod surface to avoid damaging the seals and causing air leakage.
5.Do Not Forcibly Disassemble:
The support rod is filled with high-pressure gas. Do not attempt to disassemble, impact, heat, or drill holes, as this may result in an explosion.
