This truck is:
2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab 4x4.
6.6L LLY Duramax
275k miles.
Good running older diesel with a lot of money put into supporting parts and upgrades.
No current check engine light and no current trouble codes. No blow-by issues, cold starts are great and the balance rates are all in spec.
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Hail damage (mostly on hood with random dings elsewhere on vehicle)
- A very occasional “range shift inhibited” message
- Intermittent “service brake system” ding
- batteries are getting tired because all it does is sit in the garage
We are located in La Grange, WY. So, I added the photos of the hail damage from the storm last summer. That way, if hail damage is a deal breaker it will save you a trip. Honestly, if you replace the hood, the hail damage elsewhere on the truck isn't too noticeable/telling.
This is an older HD Duramax truck, not a new truck, but it has had a lot done to it and would make someone a solid work, tow, or daily-use diesel.
All upgrades have been done in the last 3y, the truck has less than 5k miles put on it in last 3y. Most of that was a cross country road trip.
