The easy to clean powder coating helps to resist rust and corrosion and extends the life of calipers.
Break in your PowerStop Brakes as follows:

Complete 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. If you're forced to stop, complete the stop and either shift the vehicle into park or give room in front so you can allow the vehicle to roll slightly while waiting for the track light. The rotors will be very hot and holding down the brake pedal will force the brake pad to contact the rotor and possibly create an imprint on the rotor. This imprint may contribute to the creation of brake judder.

Continue the break in by completing 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, continue to drive the vehicle for as long as possible without heating the brakes excessively and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage.

Once this is completed and the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally. Never cool your brakes with water, as this can damage them.

Ensure core is in rebuildable condition
Rebate will not be issued if any of the following conditions exist:
- Scarred/cut from wheel or rotor
- Damaged inlet threads, mounting bolt threads, ear tabs, bolts, pins, or bolt threads
- Excessive corrosion/ pitted
- Missing/damaged emergency brake levers, or brackets
- Cracked/broken casting brackets
- Bleeder inlet modified/helicoil
- Broken/drilled bleeder bolt
- Unboxed: no label or tag
Caliper Core Rebate Program
We want your old calipers!
Power Stop will issue a rebate for your caliper cores within 30 days of purchase. For full core rebate, calipers must be in rebuildable condition with all attached hardware and brackets. Cores must be received within 30 days of purchase in original box.

- 1. Ensure caliper core is in rebuildable condition
- 2. Ensure brake fluid is completely drained
- 3. Place caliper(s) in plastic bag included in box and close bag with zip tie
- 4. Place proof of purchase in box (receipt or invoice from retailer)
- 5. Fill out rebate form on the Power Stop website and place in the box
- 6. Ship the box containing caliper core(s), proof of purchase, and rebate form to Power Stop using a method of your choice
- 7. Wait for your rebate! Power Stop will issue rebate within 30 days of receipt
