I am selling the Atari Portfolio, the first palmtop computer compatible with the IBM PC, which was released by the Atari Corporation in June 1989.
The computer is not functional, when turned on, only a line appears on the display - see photo.. selling for spare parts - for repair... see detailed photos...
Sold without adapter, without hinge cover and other covers, without batteries, without other accessories...
It was a groundbreaking personal computer that was small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
It used an Intel 80C88 processor running at a frequency of 4.9152 MHz and the DIP DOS 2.11 operating system, which was mostly compatible with MS-DOS 2.11.
It had 128 kB of RAM and 256 kB of ROM, which contained the OS and built-in applications.
It also gained cult status thanks to its prominent appearance in the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where John Connor used it to hack an ATM.
