NEW Book Lot LANGUAGE ARTS Spelling Cursive Writing Lesson Plans  Ideas School Curriculum Homeschool School Classroom Home Teach Learn Supplement 

Years ago as I was studying to become an elementary school teacher, I started stocking up on books and other items which I thought would be helpful in my eventual classroom. And they would have been had I actually not packed them away in a box which I didn't find until many years later. Oops! Whether you are a brand new teacher now starting up and building your own classroom materials, a veteran teacher looking to build up your lessons with new ideas or perhaps even a parent deciding to homeschool or supplement your child's education, here is bunch of stuff that could help you in the area of language arts. Sure, "e-learning" & "technology" are the buzz words of the day, but I'm a firm believer that good ol' crack open the book and peruse the pages still holds a whole lot of merit as well. If for nothing else, having hardcopy pages right there in front of you right there where you might need them!

NOTE: I will be listing other educational materials which also managed to get trapped in that box (or more recent books I'd purchased for home use with my own son but just never got around using) for several decades. Item #1:  LANGUAGE ARTS ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN - by Donna E. Norton. "This is a very practical book. All activities in the book are developed in a lesson plan format." Chapters include: Creative Language Arts, Oral Language Activities, Listening Activities, Writing Activities, Activities for Mechanics of Language, Activities for Literature, Media Activities. 407 pages.

Item #2: 100 BEST IDEAS FOR PRIMARY LANGUAGE ARTS - NOTE: I picked this up at a "friends of the library" sale It is clean and unwritten in. Written by Carole MacKenthun, R.S.M. & Kathy Thoresen. Illustrated by Becky J. Radtke. Collection of developmentally appropriate, hands on ideas and activities for you to use with students in grades K-3. Focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, this book also includes extension starters. 106 pages. 

Item #3: SPELLING: WORDS & SKILLS - Scott Foresman & Company. 20305 5. NOTE: Pages 11 - 30 are torn out and missing!! (I believe I used them while I was student teaching). 192 pages ( minus the 20 or so missing pages)

ITEM #4: WORD SEARCH FUN - Brand New. Spelling & Vocabulary Activities for Grades 3-5. 48 pages.

NOTE: As per ebay guidelines, all items I sell go out with shipping tracking regardless of how big or small, heavy or lightweight. That price is included/reflected in the shipping/handling price. This is done for both your and my safety and peace of mind. 

We are a SMOKE-FREE and PET-FREE household & all clothing is washed in allergen-free detergent. I continue to list additional items when I find the time. 

Before listing an item, I carefully check it over & to the best of my ability, try to describe it as accurately as possible. 

PayPal payment is required within 3 days of invoice receipt on auction listings. At this point, due to too many people clicking "Buy It Now" & then never actually paying for the item, my fixed price listings require immediate payment.  ***International buyers MUST pay via PayPal only.

Barring any crazy weather/hazardous driving situation, I ship as quickly as possible after receipt of cleared payment.

**I gladly welcome international customers but please be advised that any and all Customs/Duty fees that may incur with the import of items you purchase from me are the responsibility of you, the Buyer. I do reserve the right to cancel bids/refund payments from buyers in countries to which I cannot ship a particular item due to your nation's import restrictions. 

Please base your Feedback/Star Rating of me on things that are within my control. I respectfully ask you to realize that while I get your item packaged & off to the Post Office as quickly as humanly possible, I obviously do NOT have any control of how they handle it from there.  After I drop it off at the Post Office, the transit time is in the hands of the trusty Postal Service. They're generally quite efficient but do encounter some delays at times.

Postal rates keep increasing (obviously out of my control) & I carefully weigh the items prior to listing so that there are no surprises when it comes to shipping costs. I do include a very nominal charge to cover my packaging/printing materials. While I realize that you are looking for bargains, I too need to be able to cover my expenses.
