How to replace the Strut Assembly:

Preparation：Park the vehicle on level ground and place wheel chocks. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Loosen the lug nuts before lifting. Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure it on jack stands, then remove the wheel.

Remove Old Assembly：Loosen the strut tower nuts (leave one to prevent falling). Disconnect the stabilizer links, wiring harness, and other attached parts. Remove the lower strut bolts and separate the strut from the steering knuckle. Support the old assembly, remove the last tower nut, and take it out.

Install New Assembly：Inspect the new assembly for damage; do not disassemble or clamp the piston rod. Align it with the tower and knuckle, then hand-tighten one tower nut to position it. Refit the lower bolts and attached parts, hand-tightening them temporarily.

Tighten Fasteners：Follow the torque specs in the service manual to tighten the lower bolts, attached parts, and tower nuts in sequence. Do not overtighten.

Final Steps：Refit the wheel and tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern; retighten after lowering the vehicle. Reconnect the battery terminal and bounce the vehicle to settle the suspension. Perform a four-wheel alignment and test-drive to check for noises or pulling.
